Toilet, Opening & Closing Lid

Our mission here at Saphyr Fox will be to provide you with opinionated views on different things going on in the world today. Our message may offend you, make you mad, make you think, tickle your funny bone,or maybe it just might agree with what you think.

Whatever we share our opinions on, we will try to provide a link to a news source so that you may read what we have read. And maybe you'll form yor own opinion on it.

We will also try to provide a way for you to be heard on your own opinion, via either a guestbook site or a comments link that will rotate through everyones comments upon bringing up the same page that the link will be on.

We are however, not by any means a hate group, association, organization nor do we believe in any of the views or beliefs that these groups may have. We are a good natured group and believe are material should be too.

The Cell Phone Burden!!!

Now what is the deal with those damned cell phones??? Now I can honestly say I really don't see the big hubbubb about these newfangled ball 'n chains. I am an owner of a cell phone, however everyone and their cousin doesn't have the damn number to it either, just my wife. And boy I'll tell you what, if I do carry it around, the damned thing scarres the piss out of me everytime it rings. And yes it is my wife, asking me about crap she could have asked either before I went to work or after I got home from work. I can say there was only one phone call so far that it did come in handy for, and that was to return someones phone call during business hours. The kind of work I do, by the time I get done and home, the majority of businesses are closed especially the 9-5 types. And believe me, and all of those other critics that complain about cell phones, the damn phone should have just stayed at home with a damn cord connected to it. Yes, it may just as well replaced the pay phone. But hell, for the price that you pay for a call on a cell phone (which coincidentally is the same price as for a pay phone nowadays) you still could have just made it on a payphone instead of carrying a damn nuissance. My phone, which hangs on a swivel clip, just gets in the damn way. I can't get into my pockets, I run my side into things (not intentionally) and whatever I bump into presses numbers or whatnot into the key pay and displays it. The damn is a nuissance!!!! And how about those people with caller id on their cell phones, they are the worst. Hell if I wanted to monitor my calls, I would've waited until I got home to do it. What's the sense of doing that all day while your working? Hey, maybe that's it, maybe you're at work getting paid for working and all you're doing is talking on that damn cell phone. Now would your boss be happy about that......I think NOT!!!! All a cell phone is good for is for emergencies only. I think every car should have them, but left in the glove compartment with the power off until needed. I also strongly approve of these no cell phones zones. Just because I get tired of hearing those same conversations all the time...."I'm going over here, I'm doing this, I'm doing that"......like anyone really gives a red rats ass about what ever the hell you're doing....I sure as hell don't care and damn sure don't want to hear about it either. They just need to ban them wherever there may be a general public around, just like concealed firearms and how they are banned around large public places (like malls), that's what ought to be done with cell phones but do it to the extent that they're banned in say night school, libraries, and anywhere else where there may be even a small group or crowd in the area. Because frankly, we're all frigin' tired of hearing everyone else's damned one way conversations. If wanted to hear it, I would've bugged your phone and listened in, and maybe recorded it. How's that for your right to privacy. And, if you don't like that solution, then you can take that damn phone and SHOVE IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR ASS..........SIDEWAYS!!!!!!!!!

Issue On Trigger Locks

Well as everyone knows the governments getting crazy about gun control. Well that is no new news. The same with trigger locks. The government wants them and the NRA is against them. Well I used to be a member of the NRA, but that doesn't mean I agree with everything they do. I am all for this trigger locks thing. I keep trigger locks on all of my guns, not just for safety and not because that is what I learned to do with my firearms when I was in the military, but mostly because of my kids. We have enough problems with kids going to school with guns. Trigger locks are actually one good way of helping prevent that from happening in the future. I still believe in the right to bear arms, but we need to do it responsibly.

Also these second amendment rights DO cover a little more than just the right to bear arms. Just a little something to remember.
